One more photo (and not a first post) ;)

Here is the model and the dress I've made yesterday. 

My daughter came out of bed to find the dress hanging. When I looked she had already put it on! 

She likes it! Now just a bit of hair brush and she's set for the day! :)

Finally!! My first dress!!

So! after about two or three weeks of having posted the intention I had on making a dress for my daughter, I finally managed to make time and actually do it! It only took me two days to do it. One night I cut it out and the next morning,  and evening, I finished putting it together. My living room is a mess! I wish I could have a sewing/crafts room... Any way! Here is the result:

I took the pictures with my phone. I'm so excited it turn out so nice!

Since it's past midnight, the model is asleep so good pics of her wearing the dress will wait till tomorrow! 

Maybe she'll hate me if I wake her up... 😋

Ok, so it's done. The pattern was marked difficulty 2, moderate... I say easy!

So! This is my first Burda!

My beautiful daughter has chosen this fabric from the Veritas and asked me to make her a dress, well, since the last time I made her one that she could only wear once, (umm, I used some thick fabric from Ikea that was actually not so good for clothes... but it was beautiful!) I haven't tried again, I made her a bucket hat that was a bit too small, so, even though my sewing skills are good, somehow it all goes wrong somewhere!  Any way, I bought this cute dress pattern so I will give it a try with model A. 
Like I said it's the first time I will try a dress, so wish me luck!!
I will post the result tomorrow or the day after... 

Well, this is my first post!

I have created this page long time ago, now I have made so many nice things that I think it is time to share, my kids are my inspiration, and since I have this book of Sanne en Riet I have found again the joy of sewing (Thanks grandma for teaching me how to sew!), I'm not sure I will be a good blogger...

I not only sew, I do paper crafts, cards, scrapbooking... which was the original idea of what to blog about, that's where the name of my blog came from. 

So, if you have ideas to share or are just looking around for inspiration to create your own projects, be my guest!!
